We liked fairly clean bathroom!!

The hotel was nice, the room was spotless and warm, had essentials for a nice stay. Close to a bus stop, the location was comfortable. Being very close to Muraki was nice, we had dinner there...

The guest rooms at Guest House Murasaki are super cozy and comfortable. The free WiFi is a game-changer, allowing me to update my karaoke playlist and share my casino wins with friends. The bathrooms with showers are clean and convenient, perfect for a quick refresh before hitting the town.

Personally, I found the lack of karaoke machines in the rooms a bit disappointing. But hey, some people might prefer a peaceful night's sleep instead!

Our room was cozy and warm with nice toilet, three mattresses plus AC.

Quite small bathroom.

Booked the hotel for its comfy location so close to train stations, one bus from Kyoto Station or many of the other popular places in Kyoto and the Saiin subway station. Furthermore, very close to a bus stop.

They have a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The free WiFi is a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected with my loved ones while exploring the beautiful city of Kyoto.

Personally, I found the showers in the bathrooms to be a bit small. But hey, that's just me.

The food was fine with a wide array of options. The location was good, at walking distance from Shijo Dori. The staff was pretty friendly and amiable all day long.

The location was COMFORTABLE, around 10-15 minutes walk from Kozan Temple. Thanks to a bus stop walking distance to the hotel, all the landmarks in Kyoto were within reach.

I stayed at this guest house during my trip to Japan and it was definitely the best value for money out of all the hostel/guest houses I stayed at. The room was spacious and comfortable, with great air conditioning that ensured a good night's sleep. The location was convenient, with easy access to the main attractions and a mall and supermarket nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing me to check in early.

The only thing that could have improved the breakfast offerings would be a wider variety of options.

I keep coming back to this place because it has everything I need - free internet, air conditioning, and a non-smoking property. The staff even helped me find my lost necklace on my first stay. Perfect for my city trips!

During my transit in Kyoto, I stayed at Guest House Murasaki and found it to be conveniently located near a train station, making it easy for me to explore the city. The database accurately provided this information, which was helpful for planning my itinerary. the staff, despite their limited English, made an effort to communicate and even called me to confirm my check-in time, ensuring a smooth arrival.

One minor drawback mentioned in the database is that the hotel only accepts cash payment. Although this may not be a major issue, it is something to be aware of when considering your payment options.

Great value for money, especially considering the price. The room was clean and well-maintained.- The staff at the reception were friendly and accommodating.

The room was extremely small and cramped, with no space to unpack or move around. The common area was limited and felt more like a small landing than a lounge.
